Kevindu is a former tutor at Derrick Ha Student Coaching Services. He graduated from Haileybury College in 2018 with an ATAR of 99.90. Kevindu’s results earned him the top scholarship offers from both The University of Melbourne (Melbourne Chancellor’s Scholarship) and Monash University (Monash Scholarship for Outstanding Achievement). In addition to his academic success, Kevindu has excelled in the leadership and extra-curricular domains. He was School Vice-Captain of Haileybury College, as well as the Captain of the Social Justice Club. He is a keen hockey player and received the Stuart Alastair and Nigel Strong Trophy for his contribution to 2nd XI Hockey.
During 2017 and 2018, Kevindu was part of the Haileybury Team that worked with Swinburne University to design and construct an experiment for the International Space Station.
Kevindu was taught by Derrick during his Year 12 studies, and was selected to join the team at Derrick Ha Student Coaching Services because of his excellent aptitude for teaching and his exceptional academic talents. Since then, he has established himself as an excellent mathematics tutor and currently teaches Maths Methods 1&2 and Maths Methods 3&4.
